BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT N: UREA-NPK Fertilizer Business in Sub-Saharan Africa
EGT intends to establish a fertilizer business comprised of three manufacturing facilities each producing 700 metric tons per day urea, plus NPK. Near large-scale production economics can be achieved with common management, common plant designs, and optimal situation of the facilities near natural gas feedstock sources and near in-country markets; while political risk of operating interruptions is minimized due to separated locations. Excellent economics arise from stranded natural gas and historically-premium urea pricing.
TEAM EGT comprises four companies to perform process and front end engineering under EGT's INVESTOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT; up to 40 CONSULTANT COLLEAGUES are planned for involvement in various work phases.
EGT has completed Pre-Feasibility Studies and Definitional Missions that have resulted in fully-negotiated Memoranda of Understandings with three Executive Governors within the host African country. EGT is now preparing the project finance package.
